Inspectors, who visited Field Lane Primary School on October 17 and 18, 2023 confirmed our school is a ‘Good’ school. Ofsted applauded our ‘high expectations for all pupils to be successful’ and that ‘children are given the knowledge and experiences to become well-rounded citizens’.
‘Good’ ratings were achieved in every one of the five areas of inspection.
Ofsted commended our school for developing positive behaviours that, as a result, ‘helps children to be enthusiastic about taking on challenges and working hard’.
Pupils at our school told inspectors that they are ‘proud of their school’ and that they are ‘well-supported’.
Head of School, Mrs Howarth said
“We are delighted with the report, which evidenced what we already knew – just how good this school is. It reflects our strong and positive learning environment and that’s why our children love coming to school and why our parents and carers value our ‘family ethos’ and why our staff are proud to work here. The Rastrick and Brighouse community have a primary school they can be proud of, which feeds into Rastrick High School, meaning that our children’s transition from primary to secondary within two strong trust schools is guaranteed.”
