The School Council consists of pupils from each class from Y1 upwards. Pupils prepare and present a short speech to their class giving reasons why they should be elected; the class members then vote.
The School Council meets half-termly and brings suggestions from their class to the meeting which are discussed.
During the year the School Council will also take part in various activities including supporting visitors with an overview of school life, helping in assemblies and organising, and running fundraising activities. Last year we supported a local cancer charity, we also fundraise for Children in Need and Comic Relief.
